A celebration of color, texture and movement, The Calypso Dress is one of Avis Atelier’s most intricate designs to date. Entirely handcrafted, the open-knit silhouette is adorned with cascading panels of hand-applied fringe, creating beautiful movement with every step. A halter neckline and open back balance the dramatic texture with an effortless, body-skimming silhouette.

Each Calypso is individually made to order and can be created in the color combination of your choosing, making every piece uniquely your own.

The Calypso Dress is made to order with your fit in mind. Please select your standard size at checkout and provide your height in the customization field so we can tailor the length accordingly.

Because of the open-knit construction, the dress has natural flexibility and is designed to contour comfortably to the body. If additional measurements are needed to ensure the best fit, a member of the Avis Atelier team will contact you before your piece is created.

If you are between sizes or have a specific fit preference, please include those details in the notes with your order.

A Note on Color: Each Calypso Dress is made to order in your requested color combination. Please be as specific as possible when submitting your preferences (e.g., burnt orange, ivory and burgundy rather than orange, white and red). Yarn colors may vary slightly based on availability, dye lot and screen display. If a requested shade is unavailable, we’ll contact you before beginning your piece.

Please Note: Because each dress is individually handcrafted, slight variations in stitch, fringe placement and overall finish are a natural part of the process and make every Calypso one of a kind.
